Clonard is a look at a working class community as told through the eyes of a retired Catholic priest sharing the lives of his parishioners. Set in war torn West Belfast in the 1960s and 70s, Clonard is loosely based on the author's real life experiences. Sometimes hilarious and sometimes sad, it is blue collar reality at its best. These heartfelt vignettes involve an eclectic bunch of characters of years gone by and are portrayed with humor and affection.
